Social Media Marketing for Education brands
Education brands need to have niche social media marketing strategies that projects them as a provider of specialized knowledge and an accredited institution.A Facebook page community targeting their present and future students, parents, educators and tutors should be formed. The posts should be about the courses offered, best education practices, teaching methods, happenings in their institution and about their field of specialty. The objective of social media marketing campaign is to create positive perception and trust about the education brand, institution or college.
The Facebook campaign should reflect the spirit of sharing knowledge and various causes associated with the education brand shall be shared to create goodwill among the members who liked the page. Social Technik conducted a Facebook campaign for University of Leicester to promote their spot admission event in India. The campaign was holistic , promoting the event registration for the spot admission event as well as building a large community of Engineering students in their page.
